About Taylor
Taylor Maddox, LSW, is a Licensed Social Worker who earned her master’s degree from Ohio State University. She has spent her undergraduate and graduate career working with children and adolescents. Taylor is passionate about helping children and youth navigate their mental health needs. Her goal is to create a safe and nonjudgmental space where your child feels seen and understood. Working with younger children, Taylor utilizes creative modalities such as play therapy, art, and storytelling. Through these activities, kids can learn to explore their feelings, build self-esteem, and process difficult experiences. For adolescents, she uses evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, to help develop healthy coping skills for anxiety, emotional regulation, executive functioning, and life transitions. When Taylor is not in the office, she enjoys spending time in nature. She likes hiking, gardening, or reading by the pool. She loves spending time with family and exploring new coffee shops.
